CETEF is a key international initiative organized since 2014 by the Polish Chamber of Commerce for High Technology (IZTECH) under the patronage of the European Parliament and the auspices of the European Commission, in collaboration with universities, research institutes, and the high-tech industry.

The third edition of the Forum was organized in 2024 by IZTECH, the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, the Jagiellonian University, NOT – the Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations, and the City of Kraków.

The event gathered over 1,000 representatives of technology providers and end-users, scientific organizations, engineering associations, government and financial institutions, as well as the Chair of the European Parliament’s Committee on Industry, Research, and Energy.

The Forum provided an ideal platform for discussions on technological development among distinguished representatives of science and industry from 16 Central European countries. It also offered an opportunity to share experiences in building partnerships and collaborative networks that will shape Europe’s technology and industry of the future.

During the Forum, new ideas and proposals were presented to support the implementation of the European scientific and technological agenda for 2025-2030, including preparations for the EU’s 10th Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
